STUDENTS had star billing when they stepped onto the red carpet at their Hollywood-themed prom night.

Glamour was in the air as the curtain went up for Dean Academy Year 11 pupils at their blockbuster bash last Wednesday (July 5).

And they arrived in style, with their trendsetting transport to the Speech House including a vintage bus, an ice cream van, a Rolls Royce, sports cars and a Shetland pony cart.

Academy teacher Fiona Price, who helped organise the event, said: “The prom committee has worked really hard this year and did a fabulous

job of classily decorating the venue.

“The girls all looked stunning and the boys dapper. The arrival of the cars and the awards were the highlight of the evening.”
