VAUXHALL Fields in Monmouth welcomed a packed crowd of steam enthusiasts to its grounds for another successful annual Steam and Country Show over the Bank Holiday.
People of all ages enjoyed an array of activities including displays of vintage vehicles from all over the country, such as steam engines, military vehicles, cars, commercial vehicles, motorbikes and caravans.
A collectable and vintage auction car boot sale proved very popular throughout the day as well as the dog show.
Show organiser, Ian Harper said the organisers were pleased with the turnout. He said: “I would like to thank all the sponsors who made all this possible, and we are grateful to all the exhibitors for making this a bigger show for the public.”
Other attractions throughout the weekend included displays of model vehicles, bygone craft demonstrations, wool spinning, horse log pulling and fairground rides.
As ever the show raised money for local causes.
