DICK Whittington Farm Park steps back in time this weekend to medieval England. 

Visitors are invited to enjoy a full programme of events on both Saturday and Sunday. 

A tented medieval encampment will allow visitors to get a taste of the era. Children can help 'dress a knight', there will be archery demonstrations and knights will be giving squire training to children. 

On top of that there is bound to be a felon who will receive a trial for his crime followed by a suitable punishment.  A mini-knights' tournament follows and then, not for the squeamish, a medieval doctor's surgery will be opened up to explain some of the treatments used.
