POLICE are appealing for help in identifying a gang of burglars who smashed a shop window and stole several bottles of vodka.

The raid captured on CCTV took place at the One Stop shop in Caldicot around 1.10am yesterday (Tuesday, November 14).

Three offenders, one who had a push bike, broke in by smashing a window with what is believed to be a crow bar and left with approximately 10 bottles of vodka.

A Gwent Police spokesman said: "We want to speak to the three people shown in the CCTV images in connection with this offence.

"We appreciate that they have obscured their faces, but perhaps you recognise their clothing or maybe you were in the area at that time and you saw them?

"If you have any information that could help officers identify these individuals, please contact us on 101 quoting log 40 14/11/17."
