A NEW bus service has been launched to take take locals to work in Gloucester and Cheltenham and bring back visitors to Forest attractions.
'The Forest Flyer' was sent on its way by Forest MP Diana Organ on Monday.
It will take commuters from the Forest into Gloucester and Cheltenham in time for work all the year round. And during the summer months it will be collecting visitors and bringing them back to the Forest to visit attractions such as Clearwell Caves, Speech House and Puzzlewood.
The service is being run by Dukes Travel and Monday's launch brought together the project funders, The Rural Transport Partnership and the Countryside Agency.
