Although the weather was not in our favour this year and taking into consideration the other events on the same day, I am pleased to report that the income from this year's Fete was only slightly down on last year.

This, I believe, is due to the hard work of all concerned before and on the day, the generous support of the many sponsors, to which my thanks go, and a special thank you to our faithful public who support us each year come rain or shine, a testament to the high regard and affection the local hospitals are held.

The 2012 Fete will be held on the second Saturday in June and I look forward to welcoming you all then.
