I WOULD like to thank all those passengers on the No.23 Lydney to Gloucester bus, on Friday August 24 at 6.20pm at Chaxhill, Westbury-on-Severn, who kindly gave me and my wife assistance when I had a fall on the bus, while it was moving away from the stop.

Although I initially got up and thought I was OK, within a few minutes I passed out.

Thank-you to those kind people who gave my wife much needed help and support, and called for an ambulance.

Very many thanks, also, to the first response car from Staverton, and to the crew of the ambulance from Cinderford. Thanks for your prompt attendance and for the caring and professional manner in which you helped me.

After a thorough examination I was allowed to return home, and other than bruising, I am fully recovered.

Sincere thanks once again to all those that helped that day.

– Eric Symonds, Crowgate Lane, Westbury-on-Severn.
