WITH the arrival of cold damp days I predict a spate of unfair parking penalties because the tickets or the adhesive patches supplied to display the tickets are not up to the job.

I am finding that when I return to my car the ticket and patch have become very damp and limp with the ticket barely readable or able to grip to the windscreen and on a couple of occasions it has fallen off completely. Therefore, although I have paid, I am now, through no fault of my own, not displaying.

For £2 a day I suggest that the operators supply us with tickets and patches that are fit for the purpose.
