WHAT is it with the old Woolworth store in Cinderford? One minute it is open, the next it is shut.

The leasehold sign put in the window says: "We have sold the lease to someone who may be able to offer the store what it needs."

Now the former leaseholder who acquired the building the year before last is back in there after the first time around. The idea appears to be a bundle of shops under one roof like some stores operate in the other parts of the UK. But at the moment the only business moving in is a fruit and veg shop. The rest of the store is closed by the look of it. It looks like a flipping eyesore.

Woolworth going has left a huge hole in the town. Other Woolworths have been filled.

What Cinderford's been left with is a disgrace to be honest.?I know money is tight but why agree to take on this shop, which was a huge asset to the town, and to only it with junk and hair-brained ideas?
