PUPILS at a Caldicot school showed off their incredible Easter bonnets on a parade through the town.
It has been a tradition at Easter in the town – and even pre-dates the opening of Castle Park Primary School.
Children and parents worked hard to come up with the creations that included the Easter bunny, eggs and other Easter symbols.
The parade started during the time of Sandy Lane Infants School which was one of the schools that was combined to form Castle Park.
When the new school was opened in 2008, it was decided to keep the tradition going and it is now a firm favourite in the school calendar.
The children walked the half a mile from the school to Caldicot Methodist Church in the town centre where they sang three songs for the large crowd of parents and shoppers who had gathered to watch.
