TWO women who allegedly stole £110 from the till of a Coleford butchers shop earlier this week have been charged with theft.

Two women have been charged with a theft from a shop in Coleford earlier this week.

Maria Radu, 19 and of Corporation Road in Cardiff and Roxana Gheorghe, 20 and of Jubilee Street, Grangetown, Cardiff have been bailed to appear at Cheltenham Magistrates’ Court on Monday, April 25 and have been barred from entering Gloucestershire until then.

The charges relate to an incident at a butcher’s shop in Newland Street in Coleford at around 4.25pm on Tuesday (5 April) in which a shopworker was distracted prior to £110 being stolen from a till.
