A COMMUNITY nurse who needs her vehicle to visit vulnerable people on a busy round condemns whoever slashed her tyres as 'a selfish little so-and-so'.
Mrs Barbara Holder, who lives in Baker's Piece, Ruardean Woodside, says her car has now been attacked on two occasions after being parked overnight in a lay-by near her home.
"I have been having some work done which means I cannot for the time being park by my house but the layby is Forestry ground and not owned by anybody," she said.
"I have a good idea who is doing it and I want them to know I need my car to visit vulnerable people who rely on me. I have had to call out the Christchurch tyre repair people, the last time on a public holiday, and they say the cuts were obviously made with a Stanley knife."
Mrs Holder said apart from the danger, inconvenience and expense she was really worried about being prevented from seeing people who were relying on her to visit them.
The parking area is just out of range of a CCTV camera, she says. She has informed police who have been looking into the matter but so far no action has been taken.
