A FOREST vicar is abandoning her pulpit for the catwalk on Saturday.
The Rev Jan Taylor, Vicar of the United Benefice of Woolaston with Alvington and Aylburton, will be swapping her dog-collar for ball gowns and high heels – all in a good cause.
The size 12 rector will be strutting her stuff at St Andrew's, Woolaston, in a fashion show in aid of Oxfam.
"I must confess I'm more used to robing up and processing in church than I am to colour-coordinating and accessorising," she said,
"But it's all in a good cause and promises to be great fun."
