WITH all the pomp and circumstance appropriate to the occasion, Blakeney's public loos will be re-opened this week.
The grand civic ceremony on June 29 at 7pm will mark the end of an extensive revamp of the toilet block down by the King's Head in the centre of the village.
A CCTV camera will be sited to watch over the all singing, all dancing, all flushing loos and a local youth group has agreed to keep them spick and span so they don't go down the pan again. And that, finally, is an end to the toilet humour.
