THE UK was once considered one of the richest countries in the world. But, due to incompetent governments throwing away money in every direction, look where we are now.
Manufacturing has moved abroad, EU fat cats bleed us dry, foreign aid keeps going 'missing,' pensions have all but disappeared and bills keep rising year on year. People are often paying by credit card with money they do not have.
We have had years of inflated house prices which kept estate agents happy. The list goes on.
The whole world is now in a financial mess.
Now we have a charity – TRH – which says we must pay an extra maintenance charge (or else?)
Well, the stated facts are just some of the things I?would put forward as to why TRH cannot win their High Court case. No-one can afford it!
Someone suggested to me that the grass areas should be surfaced or even artificial turf laid. But, no doubt, this would be dug up and stolen by someone if it had any value. Any other suggestions?

PS: Why can't those who rent have a go at cutting their own hedges for a change?
