A PUBLIC meeting to discuss the future of tourism provision in Chepstow will take place at 10am on Monday (February 27) in the offices of Chepstow Town Council.

Cllr Bob Greenland, (Con, Wolvesnewton)Monmouthshire’s Cabinet member with responsibility for tourism, said: “Extensive consultation and the large number of people who have engaged on the future of Chepstow Tourist Information Centre indicate strong support for the retention of the service in the town.

“What that might look like, as well as how it may be funded and made sustainable, have been at the heart of the discussions. All who have an interest in the continuation of the tourist information service in Chepstow are urged to attend.  Now it is decision time. We need to agree how we can collectively sustain this service.”
