THE county police authority has now confirmed the future of most of Gloucestershire's police stations.

In the Forest what are called 'police points' have now been opened in Sedbury Village Hall following the closure of Tutshill police station, and in Newent Library following closure of the town's station.

Coleford will be the 'hub' station for the whole of the Dean.  

Meanwhile, officers from Tewkesbury Police Station are set to move into Tewkesbury Borough Council offices on Gloucester Road allowing for the sale of the current building.
