FOREST-based Wild Oats Morris, performed at about 5.30am just as the sun was rising on May Day. In a tradition believed to date back hundreds of years, between 150 and 200 people gathered at the top of May Hill to greet the dawn this year. The Morris dancing event also featured Forest of Dean Morris and Lassington Oak from Highnam.
