There was great fun and much Wombling when the famous inhabitants of London's Wimbledon Common came to call at St Briavels Playgroup for a super open day. The children, who were happy to line up with their pointy-nose friends, had a wonderful time, said organiser Sharon Deakin. The event was well attended and helped make local people aware of the fun and facilities offered by the group, which is based in St Briavels School grounds.
