IT is good that we are to have an election at Berry Hill to fill the huge gap following the tragic loss of Mrs Helen Stewart last September.

I would hope that the people of Berry Hill come out to vote and vote for a local man who has the interest of Berry Hill close to his heart.

I have known Mr Timothy Gwilliam all his life.?Tim lived opposite us when we lived in Coverham Road. He comes from a loving family background and is a Berry Hill man who loves this area of the Forest of Dean.

He has been a parish councillor for some time and unlike other politicians he does make himself available to discuss and take action when local issues come to the fore.

He has recently actively demonstrated his support for FANS and the playing field at Crow Ash.

Get out and vote and let's hope we get what we deserve, and that is a local man working for his local community.
