MITCHELDEAN experienced both sides of the late comeback in successive games.
On Saturday it was heartbreak after Woolaston levelled the scores with four minutes to go – but the previous they had been 4-0 down at Westbury with half an hour to go only to pinch the game 5-4.
Mitcheldean manager André Titmuss said: "It was a good Forest tussle. We took the lead after 12 minutes but they were a lively side and we held them until four minutes from the end when they equalised."
After three games Mitcheldean are in second and Woolaston are in third while Milkwall top the table after three straight wins.
The two wins and a draw represent a good start to the season for Mitcheldean after some changes in personnel over the summer.
Titmuss said: "We lost a few older and more experienced players at the end of last season some of the younger players have come through the reserves and have done well."
The club has made an exciting signing in teenager Ross Elliott who comes from Birmingham and is studying at Hartpury College.
Titmuss said: "He is quite a handful and can play centre-half, midfield or up-front so he is a good addition for us."
In the other Premier Division games Huntley beat Broadwell Reserves 2-1, Lydbrook Athletic Reserves were beaten 1-5 by Lydney Town Reserves, Milkwall had a 4-1 win over Coleford United, St Briavels beat Whitecroft 2-1 and Westbury United beat English Bicknor by the same margin.
