NEWNHAM claimed the full 20 points with six wickets and almost 19 overs to spare.
The home side won the toss and put Huntley into bat who started well with opener Richard Bowman putting on 31 with Jack Layton for the first wicket before being caught by Andy Rowles for 22 off the bowling of Robert Cole.
Stephen Wood and Eddie Weaver also fell to catches by Rowles off the bowling of Alex Kear and Jonathan Hall respectively.
Kear also caught and bowled Tom Eddolls for 18 while there were two wickets for Kam Patel.
The performance of the afternoon with the ball was claimed by Jan Najebuwlh whose took three wickets in 2.5 overs – two of which were maidens and conceded just two runs.
A catch by Tom Eddolls off the bowling of Matt Anderson which dismissed opener Alex Kear for a single with Newnham on 17 gave Huntley some hope.
The visitors stuck to the task when Liam Hurcombe was bowled by Stephen Wood for 41 to make it 80-2.
Hurcombe’s partner Hugh Gibbs went for 40 to make it 88-3 and despite needing just seven more runs for the win, there was still time for another wicket to fall.
James Kenny was caught leg before by Richard Bowman with the scores tied and Andy Rowles came out to get the winning run.
Huntley picked up two bowling points.
