ENGLAND and Bristol Rovers football fan Dominic Doyle has not forgotten his local Forest team, Coleford United – he has stumped up the money to buy them a new set of kit.

"It was a great thing to do and everyone at the club appreciates his generous act," said club spokesman Terry Smith.

The new strip brought Coleford some good fortune on Saturday as they opened their campaign in North Gloucester League Division 1 with a 5 - 1 victory over Forest rivals Mitchel­dean Reserves.
