Lydbrook Athletic Reserves 1-5 Westbury United

LYDBROOK Athletic Reserves went down to their ninth straight defeat of the season.

Visitors Westbury United had won only two of their 10 games this term but ran out comfortable winners.

Michael Jeffries scored twice for Westbury and there was one each for Leon Mendy, Brandan Peacey and Scott Vallance.

Alex Clements scored a consolation goal for the hosts in a game played in difficult conditions.

At the other end of the table, leaders Redbrook Rovers were handed their first defeat of the season by third-placed Mitcheldean.

The home team were 3-2 winners thanks to goals from Damon Beaumont, Clint Jones and Jon Tookey.

In the only other Premier division game this weekend, fifth-placed Viney St Swithins travelled to Ruardean Hill Rangers where they won 2-4.
