Lydbrook Athletic Reserves 6, Woolaston Reserves 4

IT’S not often that a team scores four away from home and still ends up as the losing side.

But Curtis Whatley did a one-man demolition job scoring five in a 6-4 win as Lydbrook Reserves finished their season with a flourish at the expense of strugglers Woolaston Reserves.

Stuart Gibbs and Harry Shepherd got a couple each for the visitors but it was not quite enough and they finish second from bottom.

Harrow Hill Reserves are the champions, their 0-2 win at bottom club Westbury United Reserves giving them a three-point cushion over Lydbrook.

In the division’s only other game, third-placed Mushet and Coalway United beat Whitecroft Reserves 2-1.
