THERE were six goals at Longhope as they fought out a draw with Ruardean Hill Rangers A.

The home side was looking for a win that would see them leapfrog Ross Juniors into third place in the North Gloucestershire second division.

Hill’s third team remain in eighth place as a result of the draw with none of the teams around them that played able to win.

There were two goals for Ruardean’s Bobby Walby while Lee Burford also got on the scoresheet for the visitors.

The scorers for Longhope were Luke Barnes, Carl Hyett and Joseph Collins.

Elsewhere in the division, leaders Broadwell A were held 1-1 by mid-table Rank Outsiders, Mushet and Coalway United Reserves beat Puma 1-4, Whitecroft A won 1-5 at Redbrook Rovers and Lydbrook Athletic were 0-2 winners at Ruardean United.
