LYDNEY claimed a comfortable win in this long-standing friendly over visitors Ledbury.

The match has been a regular fixture for some 20 years and was a mixed game played across five rinks.

Lydney play in two leagues, the Wyevern on a Thursday and the CMA on a Sunday.

The club is in good shape but always welcomes new members and particularly younger players.

There is a weekly club night on the green in Bathurst Park and anyone interested in finding out more about the sport is invited to go along at around 5.45pm.

Members will be happy to talk to people about the sport and show them how it's done.
