GEMMA Taylor and Mike Hyde were crowned champion of champions at the Gloucester and District Autograss Club's end-of-season awards.
Mike, who drives a Vauxhall Nova, won the men's title for the most points this season and Gemma, who drives a Mini, was top lady.
The awards evening was held at the Water Board Club in Cinderford on Saturday night.
It's been a special season for the club which was celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.
Drivers can start at the age of the 12 in a 1,000cc Mini with an unmodified engine but in total there are 10 classes which allows a range of both modified and unmodified engines.
The club's Ashley Taylor said: "Because children can drive from the age of 12 it's a real family sport.
"You can have a son or daughter driving a class one Mini, the father driving a class two vehicle in the men's section and the mother might drive the same vehicle in the women's."
There are two families in the club where mum, dad and children take part – the Bridgewaters and the Lanes.
The season runs from March and with cars run in second gear and revved to the red line, the winter will see engines stripped down and checked.
