SIXTEEN-year-old Lewis Bamford made it eight goals in three matches with a couple in this comfortable win over Howle Hill.

Connor Creed and Chach Pineda-Gorriz also got two each with Dave Jenkins the other scorer in a rain-affected match.

Reserves manager Mark Thomas said: "Lewis has just 16 and he has been here two months but I don't know how long I'll get to keep him.

"He has scored eight goals in the last three games."

Results are going in the right direction for the Milkwall team after a poor start to the season and they are now mid-table in the North Glos second division.

Thomas said: "We've brought in a few players and it has turned things around for us.

"At the start of the season we were conceding seven or eight at times so its good to be scoring like that."

The side is being strengthened with further signings in defence as Milkwall look to consolidate their position in the middle of the table.

In the division's other games Tidenham closed the gap with leaders Redmarley with a 3-2 win over strugglers Mitcheldean Reserves. They are now three points behind with a game in hand.

Bream Reserves beat Viney St Swithins 5-0 while Longhope United beat Woolaston Reserves 5-1.
