UNDY A are now three points clear at the top of the East Gwent under-16s table after a 9-1home win against strugglers Monmouth.

Second-placed Garden City enjoyed the same score against Undy B while both Chepstow Town and Caldicot Town were on the wrong end of big scores.

Chepstow went down 6-1 at Abergavenny Thursdays while Caldicot were beaten 6-2 at Usk

In the under-14 league second-placed Garden City beat hosts Undy Athletic 1-7 while Chepstow Town were held 1-1 by Newport Corinthians.

Garden City are three points clear at the top of the under-13s league after a 1-9 win at Chepstow Town.

Thornwell are joint second with Monmouth Town after recording an 8-0 victory over visitors Musko (Usk and Mardy).

Undy travelled to Abergavenny Thursdays and returned with a point from a 3-3 draw while bottom side Caerwent's visit to Monmouth saw them beaten 9-1.

In the under-12s league Undy are now eight points clear thanks to a 3-4 win at Garden City.

In the other local game Sudbrook Cricket Club were beaten 3-7 at home to Abergavenny Thursdays.
