BROADWELL under-16s girls managed to win 3-0 against Harrow Hill girls in their first ever match against the team.

Molly Osbourne, Mel Gomery and Olivia Reed all scored for the Broadwell side. Spokesman Chris Brain said: "A big thank you must go to Gloucestershire County Council and Paul McMahon, county and district councillor for Coleford East, for sponsoring their kit.

The funding came from the children's and young people's participation fund which is aimed at promoting sporting and healthy life styles for that age group."
