FOUR Forest schools have the chance to become Gloucestershire tag rugby champions – and possibly earn a trip to Twickenham.
Highnam Church of England primary school's first and second team, St John's School in Coleford and Ann Cam primary in Dymock have all reached the county final of the competition.
The competition, which is organised by Gloucestershire Police, was won by Highnam from a total of 15 teams.
The winners of the countywide final, which is supported by the Rugby Football Union and the Child Victims of Crime charity, will progress to the national finals at Twickenham later this year.
The finals take place at Hartpury College on Friday (May 11).
PC Duncan Sleeman, who helped set up the competition and works with the schools involved, said: "Overall, it was a fantastic day thoroughly enjoyed by everybody.
"There was a good level of competition and we made lot of community contacts."
