PRO-wrestling is returning to Lydney Town Hall on October 13 (starting 7pm) after a break of several years.

"This will be the best evening of entertainment in the whole of Gloucestershire for some time featuring some of the best high flying action you will ever see," said a spokesman for the organisers.

"We have been working hard with the owners of Lydney Town Hall to bring professional wrestling back and have finally confirmed a booking date.

"It's the first time in years that wrestling has returned to the town hall where sell out crowds were in attendance when the popular televised British Wrestling show on the World of Sport channel used to regularly visit.  

"We aim to bring two or three shows a year going forward and hope to rekindle Lydney's love for pro-wrestling once again."

Stars on the bill include Riley Roberts, Norman Smith Jr, The Hotshot Joey Sniper, Mr Reem Scotty Essex, The Adrenaline Rush, Nick Riley, UK Dominator, The One Man Wolfpack - Kid Lykos, "Pretty Marvellous" Danny Walsh and Lydney's own wrestling star Chris Castiel.
