FIVE goals by Richard Lund helped Sudbrook CC to open a four-point lead in the race for promotion to East Gwent League Division One on a day when only two games survived the weather.

Lund turned in a sparkling performance ahead of next Saturday's Fishwick Cup quarter final in which they entertain Mathern Wanderers B.

Manager Gary Vaughan was pleased with the result but warned his men will be looking to progress in the cup competition.
