The Forest Of Dean Juniors took to the beach at Weston Super Mare.

As part of Weston's Tough Ten Challenge they also hosted a one-mile fun run.

Megan Creed took first place for the girls. Connor Creed also ran a strong race and held off a challenge in the finishing straight to finish second overall...but surely he would have been challenging for first if not for a marshalling glitch.

There were also some great performances from the Forest's under-11 group, Jensen Coppen finishing just outside the top ten. Selbe Hopkin-Creed, Emma Williams and Will Compton also ran well and the Forest's two Year 1 participants, Harrison Coppen and Josh Compton, ran brilliantly to finish ahead of some much older runners.
