CHEPSTOW sprinter Jenny McLoughlin set two personal bests in her first event at the London 2012 Paralympics.

The 20-year-old recorded a time of 14.48 both in qualification and her first Paralympic final in the T36 100m.

Jenny was the fourth fastest qualifier but finished seventh in the final on Sunday evening.

The Cardiff University student was due to run in the 4 x 100m relay as the Review went to press last night.

This morning (Wednesday) she is due to run in the heats of her favoured 200m.

The former Chepstow School student goes into the 200m on the back of winning silver in the event at the European Championships earlier this summer.
