In response to my letter published in the Review regarding the Forest of Dean Schools Football team in the 1940s.
I have received a visit from B. Greed's son to tell me that his father now lives in France.
I have also received a "treasure" from a D. Morgan, who did not give me his address - the programme of the F.O.D v Plymouth, October 30 1948. To have kept the programme this long and now parted with it must have been a wrench. I thank you and will keep it safe.
Does anyone in the Forest have a photograph of the team - I have mislaid mine and would love a copy. – D. Keith Wilkes.
