LOCALLY based film-makers David Haxworth and Robert Fairlie are combining their skills to launch a new business.

The Monmouth men want to turn their passion for film to the advantage of businesses. They are planning to explore all aspects of film-making from corporate marketing and training videos through to producing club profiles.

Mr Haxworth explained: "We believe that promotional films are the future, particularly for websites. It is a far more informative and up-to-date method of marketing than using photographs.

"Videos are great for property tours or when trying to promote a product or service. A film will bring a website up to date, making it eye-catching and giving it an edge over competitors."

The two men have considerable experience in their field. Achievements include an award for Best UK Short Film while they have worked on many popular television programmes including Grand Designs and The Travel Show.
