POLICE in the Forest are appealing to the public for information after thefts from around three boats resulted in various electrical items being stolen.

The vessels were broken-into at Lydney Yacht Club on Harbour Road between 7.30pm on Sunday, March 27 and 4pm on Tuesday, April 5.

In the first incident which is thought to have happened between the above dates and times offender(s) have forced entry to the white leisure boat and once on board have stolen a Vision GPS chart plotter and case worth several hundred pounds.

The next incident occurred at some point between 5pm on Saturday, April 2 and 11am on Tuesday, April 5. Offenders gained entry to the secured boat and took a 15in flat screen TV and socket set.

The third incident happened between 3pm on Sunday, April 9 and 11am on Tuesday, April 5. Offenders forced entry to the craft through a secure door. Once the offenders were aboard they took a number of items of clothes, various tools, a marine sat nav system and some groceries.
