Surely, Sid Phelps can see that there is not peace in Greece, Spain and Italy? Anti-EU sentiment is growing throughout Europe – including Germany – because they, like us, are having to live with the rules and regulations imposed by unelected Eurocrats.
The EU and Greeks bang on about climate change gases and air quality, but when did we last hear their arguments based on facts?
It is a fact that the cycling road world championship currently taking place in Tuscany is being escorted by countless motorbikes, cars and TV helicopters and that the road surface has been completely relaid. The emissions there would almost equal those emanating from Brussels and 10 Downing Street. The same goes for Grand Prix racing, the Tour de France and so on.
When did the EU and Greens say anything about the indigenous populations of the world seeing their habitats wrecked by loggers?
The independent people who want out of the EU are not in a minority as next year's EU elections will show.
