I ATTENDED a planning committee meeting on Tuesday, July 11 and I was appalled.

The applicants were told that just one of their number could speak on their behalf and that after three minutes they would be silenced.

It seemed to me that fairness and justice were not to be considered.

As there seems to be quite a few park home sites around this part of the world, why is this one considered to be a caravan park as it was described by the chairman in his opening remarks?

Why the bias towards Clanna Country Park?

Apparently they all pay Council Tax and keep the park in pristine condition – why aren’t they allowed the same duty of care as travellers, especially as they pay their dues to council and government.
