WITH reference to the wild boar article featured in last week's Review. We'd like to make a few points:

Visitors from Cheshire and Cornwall are just that. They do not have to live with the constant mess and damage that the boar cause.

As a mother of two young children and a dog owner, walking in the Forest has become more of an anxious time rather than an enjoyable care-free amble due to the increased number of boar. Surely a cull would be the answer.

As for the accusation with regard to the logging machines. The paths are cleared and prepared before logging takes place.

Who is liable for the large amounts of mud which the boar turn over onto the road which coupled with the torrential rain we have had is surely an accident waiting to happen?

We are not suggesting a complete wipeout of these handsome animals but a large cull to scale down numbers and make the Forest a safe, beautiful place once more.
