BRIDGES Centre in Monmouth plays host to young guitarist Michael Christian Durrant this Saturday (April 16).

The programme, presented by Wye Valley Music, includes works by Bach, Mozart,Rodrigo, Albeniz and Sor.

Mike Brown, of Wye Valley Music, says: "Michael is one of the most exciting classical guitarists of the younger generation and this promises to be an unforgettable experience.

"Michael graduated with first class honours from the Leeds Conservatoire of Music where he studied classical guitar performance. He went on to study at the Royal College of Music in London, with the world-renowned classical guitarist Carlos Bonell.

"He has also studied privately with Graham Wade and attended public master-classes with many of the world’s most famous classical guitarists, including Craig Ogden."

The concert starts at 3pm.
