I AM writing to warn people that Stagecoach changed the bus times on January 3 without any warning. 

To exacerbate the problem the website was out of action so you couldn’t even check the times on that.

Luckily I am sufficiently a pessimist to be early at the stop, which is just as well as the bus this morning was three minutes earlier than normal. 

Three minutes doesn’t sound like a lot, but no-one else had reached the stop by the time the bus left and generally at least three people get on there.

If Stagecoach had warned people before Christmas that they were intending to change the times then it would have been more acceptable (adverts in the buses if they are too impoverished to afford adverts in the press), but to change without warning was crass and inconsiderate.
