A MAN has been charged after police raided a Newent house and found a cannabis farm with 170 plants growing.
Hung Minh Tran appeared before Cheltenham magistrates after being arrested by Gloucestershire Police’s Serious and Organised Crime Squad team at an address in Stallions Hill, on February 25.
The 34-year-old is charged with the production of cannabis and will next appear at Gloucester Crown Court on Thursday, April 4.
The swoop on the Newent property was the latest in a series of raids in the county.
