POLICE are appealing for help or information regarding the theft of £40 from a cashpoint outside the Tesco store in Chepstow, that occurred on Sunday October 20.

The incident happened at about 12.40pm, when a woman withdrew the money, but then left her cash in the machine.

Gwent police have released a photograph of two people who they wish to talk to about the theft, leaving the scene. They are a woman with blonde hair tied back, wearing a Oak style boots, skinny black jeans and what appears to be a black and white top with a distinctive pattern. The man is heavy set, with dark hair and sideburns, wearing a tee shirt, jeans, and trainers.

Anyone who may know the identity of the couple, or who may have witnessed the theft, is asked to call Gwent police on 101, quoting log number 253 on October 20.
