Some species of chameleon often change colours. However I have yet to discover one that can't make up it's mind whether it is using the red of Wales or Conservative blue. However I have no wish to tarnish the image of this beautiful reptile other than to note that I have changed colour once in 73 years!

Gethyn should be aware that considerably more than three conservative councillors have left the party in recent years, but then he is not known for his local knowledge outside of his beloved Wales.

Perhaps he has not realised that it is over 18 months since I left the district council, so it has taken me a long time to react. I will expect him to formally apologise for implying that I am still an elected councillor, after all he should know, as he now has my old seat, having gained several more votes than me at the last election. However I now just sit back and marvel at his ability to put his foot in it time after time.

And talking of throwing toys out of his pram, I gather his recent failed attempt to join Tidenham Parish Council resulted in him leaving immediately after the vote!

Perhaps Gethyn should check out his facts before putting pen to paper.
