ON July 22 while riding my horse down a narrow lane I saw a car coming towards me at high speed. I signalled for the driver to slow down but he did not and narrowly missed hitting my horse and myself.
The incident was reported to the police that evening and I was given an incident number. I was told an officer would contact me so I could give my statement. This was nearly three weeks ago now and I still have not heard anything from the police.
I thought crime figures were at an all-time low at the moment in the Forest.
So what are the police doing?
What does it take for them to take notice? Will it need my horse and myself to be killed or seriously injured? – A very worried rider.
