THIS is an eye-in-the-sky view of last week’s dramatic fire at R and B Skip Hire Ltd in Chepstow.

The family-run business in Station Road was still shrouded in smoke 15 hours after fire crews were called to the scene last Thursday afternoon.

Eyewitness Ashley Gwynne, of Chepstow, sent his drone into the air to capture the action.

He said: “I saw the smoke from Sedbury so decided to take a look with the drone. Smoke was still coming fom there on Friday morning.”

Motorists heading to Chepstow on the A48 were queued back to the National Diving Centre and many pulled over on the Wye Bridge to view the fire.

A spokesman said the cause of the fire was accidental and no-one had been injured.
