A FOREST woman was named ‘Miss Enchanting’ at a recent beauty pageant.

Jessica Caldwell, who is 22 and lives in Lydney, took the top title at the pageant in Merthyr Tydfil, as well as coming first in the fashion and evening wear sections.

She also won the Miss Popularity, a linked competition on Facebook to get the most ‘likes’ for her photo.

Jess, who works as a beautician in Cinderford, said: “There was an opening round which was just jeans and a T-shirt, then fashion wear, swimwear and evening wear.

“You are scored on how you walk, your posture and smile.

“I’ve been doing pageants for six years and I like wearing the dresses.

“It also gives you confidence and you have to do things in the community which I enjoy.”
